Sishu Seva Ashram, Balijori is a voluntary organization Registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 having Regd. No- S.G.D. 872-47/89-90 Dated 24.9.1989. The institution is working in the field of rehabilitation and development of Child Need of Care & Protection (CNCP) children and runs a Child Care Institution. The institution also registered under JJ(CPC) Act, 2015 having registration no. 81/2006 on Dt. 19.09.2016 & Renewal on Dt.02.08.2021 & valid up to Dt. 03.08.2026. Also the institution is registered with Niti Aayog registration number OR/2017/0170305 and PAN number AAKAS9255Q.

The mission of the Sishu Seva Ashram, Balijori is to provide a safe, caring and loving environment for children, who are vulnerable, orphaned or abandoned as well as strive to make them capable for their better mainstreaming to lead a dignified life.

To provide a safe, caring and loving environment for children; who are vulnerable, orphaned or abandoned.
To strive to get sponsorship/aid for each child and staff member; to sponsor the child’s care and education and the staffs wages.
To use local resources and seek to become self-reliant in energy and food.
To strive to reintegrate the children into their family members.
To provide higher education, vocational training to the children.
To provide outing, sport and cultural event to reinforce the children.
Office Address:
The registered office of the Sishu Seva Ashram is situated At/Po-Deobhubanpur, Ps-Kinjirkela, Block-Balishankara, Dist- Sundargarh. Presently the organization is running a Child Care Institution (a project of the Mission Vatsalya Scheme of Government of India supported by the OSCPS, W & CD and Mission Shakti, Government of Odisha) at Balijori village near Sundargarh town. It is nearly about 2 km away from the Sundargarh Government College.
